In 2018, LPT recognized the need to connect with schools through out the year to help develop their reading programs and to work with children who were falling behind in literacy.

For these reasons, we began a program whose mission is to develop an ongoing relationship with our partner schools.  Our coordinator and bilingual volunteers visit schools twice weekly throughout the school year to help students falling behind in reading and to help with reading programs.

If you reside in San Miguel, or Dolores Hidalgo, speak Spanish at an advanced level and enjoy working with children, consider volunteering with Libros para Todos.
